VD Pay Services ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, web portal, mobile application and services (the "Platform"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, business name, mobile number, email address, address, state, PAN or GST number and the role you register for.
- KYC documents: identity proof, address proof and business proof that you upload for verification.
- Transaction data: the mobile numbers, subscriber IDs, consumer numbers, operators, amounts and status of recharges and bill payments you process, wallet top-ups, fund transfers and commissions.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser or device details, login times and pages used, collected automatically for security and fraud prevention.
- Support communication: messages you send us by phone, WhatsApp, email or the dispute system.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
- To process recharges, bill payments, wallet transactions and commissions, and to share the minimum data needed with operators, billers, aggregators and payment gateways to complete them.
- To send OTPs, transaction alerts, receipts and important service notices by SMS, WhatsApp, email or in-app notification.
- To detect and prevent fraud, unauthorised access and misuse of the Platform.
- To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.
- To improve the Platform, support quality and operator success rates.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Telecom operators, DTH operators, billers and their aggregators, to the extent needed to complete a transaction.
- Payment gateways and banks for wallet top-ups and settlements.
- SMS, WhatsApp and email service providers used to deliver OTPs and notifications.
- Your upline distributor or super distributor, who can see your business name, mobile number and transaction summaries for the accounts they manage.
- Government or law enforcement agencies when required by law.
4. Data security
Passwords are stored in hashed form, sensitive actions are protected by OTP and transaction PIN, and access to data is restricted to authorised personnel. All communication with the Platform is encrypted using HTTPS. While we take reasonable measures, no system is completely secure, so please keep your credentials confidential and log out on shared devices.
5. Data retention
Transaction records are retained for as long as required by applicable tax and regulatory rules, and account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes and legal obligations.
6. Cookies
The Platform uses session cookies that are necessary for login and security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your rights
You can view and update most of your profile information from the portal. You may request correction or deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
The Platform is intended for business users aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised date.
